Linq submitchanges not updating

First step to be able to use Lin Q on our SQL database, we will need to define a way, by which .NET can recognize the database as Classes/Objects, so we will need to map the database tables/stored procedures to Lin Q to SQL classes. You can use your own custom logic to override these actions, but the order of submission is orchestrated by a service of the Data Context known as the At this point, any errors detected by the database cause the submission process to stop, and an exception is raised. All changes to the database are rolled back as if no submissions ever occurred.NET Framework 3.0 ) to successfully able to run LINQ To SQL examples.

When you make this call, the Data Context tries to translate your changes into equivalent SQL commands.I hope this help anyone with same issue :) Also had this problem occuring on the web application surface.
